RP ProMap ‑ Store Locator vs Way: Google Maps Store Locatorfor Shopify (2026)
RP ProMap ‑ Store Locator and Way: Google Maps Store Locator are both Shopify apps designed to help merchants connect their online stores with physical locations. RP ProMap positions itself as a robust solution for businesses with numerous locations or complex filtering needs, offering bulk import capabilities, custom store tags, and extensive customization options. It seems to target larger businesses needing advanced features. Way, on the other hand, emphasizes ease of use and a floating store locator accessible from every page, making it a potentially better fit for smaller businesses or those prioritizing simplicity and quick setup. One key difference lies in the scale and feature set. RP ProMap boasts features like bulk CSV import for 500+ locations, dynamic map loading, and 24/7 support. These features cater to merchants with a larger number of locations and require more advanced management options. Way focuses on simplicity, offering a one-click installation and unlimited store locations, emphasizing visual customization and quick setup. Therefore, a merchant should base their decision on the scale of their physical operations and the degree of complexity they require in managing store locations.

Our Verdict
For merchants with a large number of physical locations (500+), those needing to allow filtering, and those prioritizing robust support, RP ProMap ‑ Store Locator appears to be the superior choice. The bulk import functionality and custom tagging options are essential for managing a large network. Furthermore, the provided 24/7 support would be a major benefit. However, if ease of use and rapid deployment are paramount and the number of store locations is manageable without bulk import, Way: Google Maps Store Locator is a more appealing solution. Its floating store locator and one-click installation make it a quicker and simpler option, especially for smaller businesses.
