RT: Smooth Scroll To Top vs Shoplift ‑ A/B Testing & CROfor Shopify (2026)
RT: Smooth Scroll To Top and Shoplift - A/B Testing & CRO are both Shopify apps that fall under the 'Design elements' category, but they address vastly different needs. RT: Smooth Scroll To Top is a utility app focused on enhancing user experience by adding a 'scroll to top' button and progress bar to stores, targeting merchants whose themes lack this functionality or want greater customization. It aims to improve navigation on long pages, potentially increasing conversions by making it easier for customers to browse. Shoplift, on the other hand, is a sophisticated A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) tool that empowers merchants to experiment with various aspects of their store, from product pages and pricing to entire theme designs. Its primary goal is to boost revenue by identifying and implementing changes that improve conversion rates. The key difference lies in their purpose. RT focuses on a single, specific UI element, while Shoplift offers a comprehensive suite of A/B testing features. RT is likely aimed at smaller stores or those with limited technical resources who simply want an easy-to-implement UI improvement. Shoplift caters to larger or more established businesses that are actively investing in CRO and have the resources to analyze data and run multiple A/B tests. While both apps contribute to better user experience and potentially higher sales, Shoplift involves a much deeper level of analysis and strategic decision-making.
