Our Verdict
The choice between Rubik Variant Images & Swatch and SoldLive: FB & IG Live Selling depends entirely on the merchant's business needs and sales strategy. If a merchant sells products with numerous visual variations and aims to improve the on-page shopping experience, Rubik Variant Images & Swatch is the clear winner. It directly addresses the issue of visually representing product variations effectively. However, for merchants who are actively involved in or want to explore live selling on social media platforms, SoldLive: FB & IG Live Selling is the better option. It automates the crucial aspects of live sales, such as order taking and inventory management, allowing the merchant to focus on engaging with their audience.
In essence, Rubik enhances existing product pages while SoldLive creates a new sales channel. There isn't necessarily a direct comparison in terms of overlapping functionality, making the selection process dependent on the strategic direction of the online store.
Common Questions
Can both apps be used together?
While both apps fall under the 'Images and Media' category, their core functionalities are distinct. Using both is possible, but unlikely to be particularly synergistic. Rubik improves standard product page visuals; SoldLive automates live video sales. The integration wouldn't be seamless as one is enhancing static content while the other manages dynamic live video.

Based on the provided description, Rubik's primary function is to improve on-site product presentation. There is no mention of direct social media integration for sharing or promoting variant images.
Does SoldLive work with other e-commerce platforms besides Shopify?

Which app has the better rating, and how significant is the difference?
Rubik Variant Images & Swatch has a slightly higher rating (5/5) compared to SoldLive: FB & IG Live Selling (4.9/5). The difference is minimal, and the higher rating of Rubik is coupled with more than double the reviews, suggesting a potentially larger user base or longer track record.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
It's difficult to definitively say which app is easier to set up and use without user testimonials specifically addressing this aspect. However, SoldLive may have a steeper learning curve due to the complexity of setting up live selling automation and integrating with Facebook and Instagram. Rubik emphasizes seamless theme integration, suggesting a potentially simpler setup process. Further investigation of user reviews focused on ease of use would be helpful.
