Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, both appear to offer relatively straightforward setup. However, Rubik's AI-assisted image assignment feature might make it easier to manage large product catalogs with many variants. Textify's setup simplicity will depend on the complexity of the fields being created.
Will either app slow down my website?
Rubik explicitly claims to have no impact on page speed, while Textify mentions seamless theme integration for efficient note collection. However, heavy customization with Textify *could* potentially impact speed; thorough testing is recommended.
Do these apps work on mobile devices?
Both apps implicitly support mobile devices, as they integrate with Shopify themes that are inherently responsive. However, it's important to ensure that the layout and presentation of variant images and custom fields are optimized for mobile viewing.
Can I use both apps together?
Yes, you *can* technically use both apps. Rubik would handle the image display, and Textify would handle the collection of customer inputs. However, ensure that the combined user experience on the product page is clean and not overwhelming for customers.
Is there a free trial available for either app?
The data provided doesn't indicate whether free trials are available for either app. Merchants should check the app listings in the Shopify App Store for the most up-to-date information regarding trial periods and pricing plans.
