RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee vs Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Feefor Shopify (2026)
RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee and Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Fee both aim to help Shopify merchants manage Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, but they approach the problem from slightly different angles. RUBIX positions itself as a comprehensive COD management solution focused on customization and ease of use, allowing merchants to add fees and set eligibility rules based on various conditions like location and order amount. Snap COD, on the other hand, emphasizes fraud prevention and reducing Return to Origin (RTO) rates by detecting high-risk orders and selectively offering or hiding the COD option based on customer history, IP location, and order characteristics. While both apps allow for COD fees, Snap COD heavily emphasizes fraud prevention through risk assessment and targeted display/hiding of the COD option. RUBIX takes a more general approach to COD management, focusing on flexibility and customization through conditions based on cart totals, currency, etc. The small review count for both apps, especially Snap COD, suggests they are relatively new or have a limited user base, so merchants should proceed cautiously and carefully evaluate if the features truly align with their specific business needs.

Our Verdict
If a merchant is primarily concerned with offering flexible COD options and customizing the payment method based on various order parameters, RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee seems like the more appropriate choice. Its focus on conditions related to cart total, subtotal, and currency provides granular control over COD eligibility. However, for merchants struggling with high rates of COD fraud and Return to Origin (RTO), Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Fee is likely the better option. Its emphasis on fraud detection through order history analysis and IP location tracking offers a more proactive approach to preventing fraudulent orders. Both apps require careful evaluation given the low number of reviews.
Common Questions
