Our Verdict
Given the current data landscape in 2026, Sales Countdown Timer & Upsell is the significantly safer choice. Its perfect rating and 43 reviews indicate a functional and reliable app that has delivered positive results for other merchants. It’s a solid choice for stores that want to try a countdown timer based on good social proof.
Shaky - Cart Button Animator, with its lack of reviews and zero rating, is a much riskier proposition. While its premise is interesting, the absence of any user feedback makes it difficult to recommend without extensive testing on a non-critical section of your store. Only merchants with a high tolerance for risk and a strong belief in the power of visual animation should consider testing it, but even then, proceed with caution.
