Our Verdict
Given the available information, Sales Countdown Timer & Upsell is the safer choice for most merchants in 2026. The existing user reviews (43 reviews and a 5/5 rating) provides some confidence that the app functions as intended. Merchants seeking a proven, generally applicable method for increasing sales through urgency will likely prefer Sales Countdown Timer & Upsell.
SP (Sales Exit Intent Popup) may be a good fit for merchants who specifically want to address cart abandonment and prevent customers from leaving their store. However, the lack of reviews presents a significant risk; merchants would be essentially beta testing the app. Such merchants should proceed with extreme caution, perhaps after contacting the developer for more information or a trial period.
