Sales Reps Commission Manager vs S:Request a Quote & Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
Sales Reps Commission Manager and S:Request a Quote & Hide Price are both Shopify apps that fall under the 'Orders' category, but they address fundamentally different business needs. Sales Reps Commission Manager focuses on internal sales operations, providing tools to automate commission calculations, track rep performance, and generate reports. It targets merchants with sales teams who need to accurately and efficiently manage commissions and incentivize their reps. S:Request a Quote & Hide Price, on the other hand, is externally focused, enabling merchants to negotiate prices with customers and handle quote requests. The primary difference lies in their target audience and value proposition. Sales Reps Commission Manager streamlines internal workflows for managing sales teams. S:Request a Quote & Hide Price is designed to improve customer engagement and potentially increase sales by allowing customers to request quotes and negotiate prices. App 2's higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest wider user satisfaction and potentially greater reliability or feature set, although this must be weighed against the very different functionalities they provide.

Our Verdict
The choice between these apps depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If a merchant has a sales team and struggles with managing commissions and tracking performance, Sales Reps Commission Manager is the clear choice. It automates these tasks and provides valuable insights. However, if the merchant wants to offer customers the ability to negotiate prices, request quotes for products, or purchase in bulk and require custom pricing, then S:Request a Quote & Hide Price is the better option.
While S:Request a Quote & Hide Price has a higher rating and more reviews, this doesn't automatically make it the superior app overall. The two apps serve distinct purposes. A merchant with a sales team requiring commission management will find Sales Reps Commission Manager far more valuable. If a merchant doesn't manage a sales force or commission, it adds no value. Therefore, understand your needs first.
