Our Verdict
Choosing between SC Store Locator Map and Sesami Booking App depends entirely on the business model. If you operate a retail business with multiple physical locations and aim to drive customers to those stores, SC Store Locator Map is the clear choice. Its focus on mapping and directions directly addresses this need. However, if your business revolves around scheduling appointments for services or experiences, Sesami Booking App is the better option. Its features are tailored to managing bookings, sending reminders, and scaling a service-based business. There's minimal overlap in their functionality, making the decision straightforward based on the core business offering.
Common Questions
Does SC Store Locator Map handle appointment scheduling?
No, SC Store Locator Map focuses solely on directing customers to physical store locations. It does not offer any appointment scheduling features.
Can I use Sesami Booking App to show my store locations on a map?
While Sesami Booking App might allow you to associate a location with a service, it's not designed primarily for store location mapping and lacks the dedicated features of SC Store Locator Map.
Which app is better for a business with both physical stores and online services?
Ideally, you'd use both. SC Store Locator Map would help customers find your physical locations, while Sesami Booking App would manage online service bookings. Alternatively, consider a single app that offers both functionalities if available.
Is one app more difficult to set up and use than the other?
Both apps claim to be easy to set up. SC Store Locator Map offers pre-designed map templates, while Sesami Booking App offers a quick setup and an onboarding call. The actual ease of use will depend on the specific merchant's technical skills and needs.
Which app is more likely to impact my store's loading speed?
SC Store Locator Map explicitly states it's 'Speed tested' and designed to 'Withstand traffic spikes with low impact to your online store.' Sesami Booking App doesn't provide similar performance guarantees in its description, so SC Store Locator Map is probably better suited for very high traffic scenarios (though performance testing for your specific store setup is always recommended).
