SC Store Locator Map vs Zasilkovna • Packeta connectfor Shopify (2026)
SC Store Locator Map and Zasilkovna • Packeta connect both fall under the 'Delivery and pickup' category on the Shopify app store, but they cater to vastly different needs. SC Store Locator Map focuses on driving in-store traffic by providing customers with a robust store locator experience using Google Maps integration. It's designed for businesses with physical locations (stores, dealers, distributors) that want to make it easy for customers to find them and get directions. Features such as unlimited locations, search filters, and custom fields enhance the search experience and allow merchants to showcase their stores effectively. On the other hand, Zasilkovna • Packeta connect streamlines the delivery process by integrating with the Packeta network of pickup points across the Czech Republic and the EU. It's geared towards businesses that ship products and want to offer customers the convenience of selecting a nearby pickup point rather than requiring a delivery address. The app simplifies order fulfillment, tracks payment and delivery status within the Shopify admin, and provides order export functionality. While both apps enhance the delivery process, they do so through different mechanisms: one focuses on direct store visits, the other on efficient package delivery via a network of pickup points.

Our Verdict
If your business model relies on customers visiting your physical store locations, then SC Store Locator Map is the clear choice. Its Google Maps integration, robust search features, and ability to handle high traffic make it a powerful tool for driving foot traffic. The higher number of reviews also suggests broader adoption and a more established track record.
However, if you primarily ship products, especially within the Czech Republic and EU, and want to offer your customers the convenience of Packeta's pickup points, Zasilkovna • Packeta connect is the more suitable option. Its focus on streamlined order fulfillment and tracking, combined with the convenience of a pre-existing network of pickup points, can significantly improve the customer experience. While it has fewer reviews, the higher rating suggests high satisfaction among its user base.
