Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Scala GDPR EU Cookie Banner is the clear choice for merchants in 2026. It offers a proven, albeit limited, solution with positive user feedback. Merchants comfortable with manually handling cookie blocking after obtaining consent will find it a straightforward option. Verified Private, while potentially promising, lacks any evidence of functionality or user satisfaction. Until it gathers reviews and provides feature details, it's a risky choice. If a merchant is willing to take a gamble on a new app and potentially provide early feedback, Verified Private could be an option. However, the safe and sensible choice, at this point in time, is Scala GDPR EU Cookie Banner.
