Our Verdict
Scala Parcelamento Installment is ideal for merchants heavily relying on BNPL services like Klarna or Mercado Pago. If a significant portion of sales comes through installment payments, this app's focused approach to displaying those options prominently can directly increase AOV. Its customizability within the theme editor is a bonus. SEOAnt ‑ Trust Badges & Icon is better suited for merchants who want to generally improve customer trust and reduce bounce rates across the store. It's a broader solution, especially useful for new stores or those with low conversion rates that may be due to a lack of customer confidence.
While both have positive ratings, the higher number of reviews for SEOAnt indicates it solves a more widespread issue or offers a more universally appealing solution. A merchant might consider using both apps to address both installment display and general trust-building, but if only one can be chosen, it should be based on the primary area of concern: increasing AOV via BNPL visibility (Scala) or boosting overall trust and security perceptions (SEOAnt).
Common Questions
What are the main differences in how these apps increase sales?
Scala Parcelamento increases sales by making payment options (installment plans) more visible, directly influencing the purchase decision. SEOAnt increases sales by building trust through badges, reducing hesitation and bounce rates.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
SEOAnt is likely easier to set up, with its one-click badge selection. Scala Parcelamento requires integration with existing payment processors and customization within the theme editor, potentially needing more configuration.
Which app is more focused on international sales?
Scala Parcelamento explicitly supports 135 currencies, making it potentially more suitable for international merchants offering diverse payment options. SEOAnt's features aren't currency-specific.
Does either app process transactions directly?
