Scala Parcelamento Installment vs TablePress Size Chart & Guidefor Shopify (2026)
Scala Parcelamento Installment and TablePress Size Chart & Guide, while sharing the 'Design elements' category on Shopify, address vastly different merchant needs. Scala Parcelamento Installment focuses on enhancing the checkout experience by displaying Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) installment options directly on product pages. It aims to increase AOV by making purchases more accessible and transparent regarding payment plans. Its target audience is merchants using BNPL services like Klarna or Mercado Pago and who want to improve conversion rates by clearly communicating payment flexibility. TablePress Size Chart & Guide, on the other hand, is designed to improve product presentation and reduce returns by enabling merchants to create customizable tables. These tables can display size charts, product specifications, comparisons, or pricing, all with the aim of providing customers with more comprehensive product information. The primary distinction lies in their core functionality: Scala Parcelamento Installment improves payment transparency and ease, while TablePress Size Chart & Guide enhances product information and guidance. Scala prides itself on speed and compatibility with themes and currencies, while TablePress emphasizes customization and pre-built templates. Both apps claim ease of use, offering previews within the Shopify theme editor or pre-built templates for rapid implementation. A merchant's specific needs regarding payment options versus product data presentation will dictate which app is the more suitable choice for their store.
