Securify ‑ Block IP & Country vs TrustedSite ‑ Trust Badgesfor Shopify (2026)
Securify ‑ Block IP & Country and TrustedSite ‑ Trust Badges both aim to enhance security aspects of a Shopify store, but they approach it from distinctly different angles. Securify focuses on actively preventing potentially harmful traffic by blocking specific IPs and countries. In contrast, TrustedSite aims to build trust with legitimate customers by showcasing security certifications and trust badges. Thus, while both contribute to security, one is preventative, and the other is about building customer confidence. TrustedSite has a significantly higher rating (4.2/5) based on a much larger sample size (179 reviews) compared to Securify's 3.4/5 rating from only 12 reviews. TrustedSite emphasizes increasing sales by alleviating visitor concerns, verifying site security, and showcasing business legitimacy. Key features include earning certifications, displaying trust badges, and providing identity theft protection. Securify’s focus on IP and country blocking targets merchants with specific needs related to spam prevention, geo-specific sales strategies, or preventing malicious traffic from certain regions. TrustedSite seems more broadly applicable to most e-commerce stores looking to improve customer trust and conversions.

Our Verdict
TrustedSite is the better option for most Shopify merchants. Its higher rating and larger review base suggest a more positive user experience. Its focus on building trust and increasing conversions through certifications and badges is a broad appeal. Securify ‑ Block IP & Country, while useful, targets a more specific niche of merchants dealing with targeted attacks or spam from specific geographic locations. The average merchant likely doesn't have enough specific knowledge to effectively use IP/Country blocking and will benefit more from the passive trust building provided by TrustedSite.
If a merchant is actively battling persistent spam or attacks originating from specific IP addresses or countries, then Securify might be a necessary tool in their arsenal. However, for the vast majority of Shopify stores aiming to increase sales and build a reputable online presence, TrustedSite offers a more comprehensive and readily applicable solution.
