SellerActive Inventory Listing vs Synkro: Inventory Syncfor Shopify (2026)
SellerActive Inventory Listing and Synkro: Inventory Sync are two Shopify apps in the Inventory category, but they cater to distinctly different merchant needs. SellerActive focuses on multichannel e-commerce operations, targeting merchants selling on multiple platforms like Walmart, Amazon, TikTok Shop, eBay, and Etsy. Its core strength lies in automated product listing, inventory syncing across channels, dynamic repricing, and order routing to various fulfillment centers (FBA, WFS, 3PL). It offers a comprehensive suite of tools for merchants seeking to expand their reach and streamline complex multichannel operations. Synkro, on the other hand, is built for merchants managing multiple Shopify stores. It specializes in real-time inventory and product property syncing, effortless product cloning between stores, and customizable price rules. Synkro prioritizes simplicity and ease of use for those operating within the Shopify ecosystem. The key difference lies in their focus: SellerActive is outward-facing, helping merchants manage sales across various external marketplaces, while Synkro is inward-facing, facilitating seamless synchronization between multiple Shopify stores owned by the same merchant. SellerActive provides managed services and live support, suggesting a higher level of complexity and potentially greater upfront investment. Synkro emphasizes effortless syncing and top-notch customer support, positioning itself as a simpler, more user-friendly solution for multi-store management within Shopify. The significant difference in review count and ratings also suggests a disparity in user satisfaction and established presence within the Shopify app ecosystem.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to expand their reach beyond Shopify and sell on multiple marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, and Etsy, SellerActive Inventory Listing offers a comprehensive suite of tools, despite its lower rating and fewer reviews. Its repricing strategies, order routing, and managed services can be valuable for managing the complexities of multichannel e-commerce. However, the low rating and small number of reviews should be carefully considered.
Synkro: Inventory Sync is the clear choice for merchants operating multiple Shopify stores and seeking a simple, reliable solution for inventory and product synchronization. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, and focus on ease of use make it a compelling option for streamlining multi-store management within the Shopify ecosystem. The lack of multichannel support makes it unsuitable for merchants wanting to sell outside of Shopify.
