Selling Point vs Store Migrate & Order Importfor Shopify (2026)
Selling Point and Store Migrate & Order Import both aim to simplify data migration to Shopify but cater to distinct needs. Selling Point focuses exclusively on migrating or importing gift cards and store credits from other platforms, including POS systems, addressing a niche pain point of merchants transitioning their loyalty programs or dealing with disparate systems. Store Migrate & Order Import, on the other hand, offers a broader solution for migrating entire stores—products, orders, customers, and SEO—from various e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce, Wix, and others. This makes them suitable for merchants seeking a comprehensive migration solution.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with migrating existing gift card balances or store credits from legacy systems or wanting to consolidate them into Shopify, Selling Point is the clear choice. Its specialized focus on this specific data type, along with its claim of rapid migration, makes it a targeted solution. However, if a merchant is migrating their entire online store from another platform like WooCommerce or Wix and needs to transfer products, orders, customer data, and SEO rankings, Store Migrate & Order Import is the more appropriate option due to its comprehensive feature set and broader platform compatibility.
