Sendcloud vs Yanet: Returns and Exchangesfor Shopify (2026)
Sendcloud and Yanet: Returns and Exchanges both operate within the Shopify shipping ecosystem, but they address different needs. Sendcloud positions itself as an all-in-one shipping platform, managing everything from checkout to returns, with a focus on automation and carrier integration. It targets growing businesses that require a comprehensive solution to streamline their shipping workflows, offering features like multi-carrier support, label printing, branded tracking, and customized delivery options. Yanet, on the other hand, specializes specifically in return and exchange management, providing a dedicated system for handling customer return requests and policies. Yanet excels in providing a clear, flow-based solution for returns and exchanges, allowing merchants to create customized return policies for different products and enabling customers to easily submit requests through an embedded portal. The app's strength lies in its focused functionality and customization options for return processes, which makes it ideal for businesses prioritizing a robust and tailored return management system. While Sendcloud offers return management as part of its broader shipping solution, Yanet provides more granular control over the return process itself. Therefore, the choice between them depends on whether a merchant needs a comprehensive shipping solution or a focused return and exchange management system.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a complete shipping solution with integrated return management, Sendcloud is the better choice. Its comprehensive feature set, covering everything from label printing to branded tracking across numerous carriers, makes it ideal for businesses looking to streamline their entire shipping operation. However, if a merchant already has a shipping process in place and needs a robust, highly customizable solution specifically for managing returns and exchanges, Yanet: Returns and Exchanges is the preferred option. Its granular control over return policies and customer portal customization provides a superior returns experience.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Sendcloud claims easy setup with no code needed. Yanet features an easy-to-use embedded portal, suggesting similar ease of use but specifically for the returns portal functionality.
Which app offers more carrier integrations?
Sendcloud explicitly states integration with 160+ carriers, whereas Yanet says it connects to "all shipping carriers". While "all" sounds comprehensive, Sendcloud provides a concrete number indicating the breadth of its existing integrations.
Which app is better for improving customer satisfaction with returns?
While both apps aim to improve customer satisfaction, Yanet is specifically focused on this aspect within the return process. Its customizable return portal and clear communication through email notifications are designed to provide a seamless and positive return experience for customers. Sendcloud's return management is part of a larger suite and may not offer the same level of dedicated customization.
Does Sendcloud offer features beyond returns and shipping?
Sendcloud's description focuses on shipping-related features like label printing, order syncing, and delivery customization. While it automates the workflow, it doesn't explicitly mention other functionalities outside of the shipping domain.
Which app is more cost-effective for businesses with low return rates?
The cost-effectiveness depends on the pricing structures of each app (which is not provided). However, if a business has very low return rates, the focused functionality of Yanet might be unnecessary, making the broader shipping solution of Sendcloud a more practical choice as it addresses other aspects of the shipping workflow regardless of the return volume.
