Sense RTL: עברית vs TrustedSite ‑ Trust Badgesfor Shopify (2026)
Sense RTL: עברית and TrustedSite ‑ Trust Badges are both Shopify apps that aim to enhance the user experience on a merchant's website, but they address fundamentally different needs. Sense RTL focuses on adapting a Shopify store for Hebrew-speaking customers in Israel by providing right-to-left layout support, Hebrew translations, and region-specific features like payment icons. TrustedSite, on the other hand, centers around building trust with website visitors by offering security and business certifications, displaying trust badges, and providing identity theft protection. They both technically fall into the 'Design elements' category but cater to completely different optimization strategies. Sense RTL's strengths lie in its specialized functionality for Hebrew localization, making it easy for merchants to cater specifically to the Israeli market. It provides out-of-the-box solutions for right-to-left alignment and Hebrew translation, saving merchants considerable time and effort in manually customizing their stores. TrustedSite's strengths are in its ability to alleviate customer concerns about security and legitimacy, which can lead to increased conversions and sales. The app offers a recognizable suite of trustmarks and certifications, providing an immediate visual cue to visitors that the site is trustworthy. While both touch on the 'design elements' Shopify category, their utility is significantly disparate.

Our Verdict
The choice between Sense RTL: עברית and TrustedSite ‑ Trust Badges depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant is primarily targeting the Israeli market or wants to enhance the experience for Hebrew-speaking customers, Sense RTL is the clear choice. It streamlines the process of adapting a store for right-to-left languages and provides essential Hebrew translations. However, if a merchant is looking to build trust with a broader audience and address common security concerns, TrustedSite is the better option. Its trust badges and certifications can significantly improve conversion rates by assuring customers of the site's legitimacy and security.
For merchants operating in Israel AND targeting Hebrew speakers, using both apps concurrently could be optimal. TrustedSite can provide general security assurances while Sense RTL specifically caters to local linguistic and cultural preferences. But for a constrained budget and a singular focus, choosing the application that addresses the most pressing need is critical. If acquiring Hebrew-speaking customers is a primary revenue driver, Sense RTL wins; otherwise, TrustedSite probably delivers broader value.
Common Questions
Can Sense RTL improve my store's SEO for Hebrew searches?
While Sense RTL primarily focuses on layout and translation, it can indirectly improve SEO by providing a better user experience for Hebrew-speaking visitors, potentially leading to lower bounce rates and higher time-on-site, which are positive SEO signals. However, dedicated SEO tools are still needed for direct keyword optimization.
Does TrustedSite guarantee my store is 100% secure?
TrustedSite helps verify certain security aspects of your site, such as the absence of malware and vulnerabilities, and that your business is a legitimate entity. However, it's important to understand that TrustedSite cannot guarantee complete security against all possible threats. No security tool can provide a 100% guarantee. It's a tool for risk mitigation, not elimination.
Is Sense RTL only for Hebrew, or can it handle other RTL languages?
Based on the description, Sense RTL is specifically designed for Hebrew. While the RTL functionality might work for other RTL languages, the Hebrew translation features wouldn't be applicable, limiting its value.
How long does it take to earn certifications with TrustedSite?
The time to earn certifications with TrustedSite can vary depending on the specific certifications you're pursuing and the current state of your website and business practices. Some certifications may be earned relatively quickly after installing the app, while others might require more in-depth verification and updates to your website.
Are there recurring costs associated with Sense RTL and TrustedSite?
The app store listing does not provide pricing information. Check the app listings on the Shopify app store for the most accurate and up-to-date pricing details for both apps, including any free tiers, subscription options, and associated fees. Look for mentions of recurring fees, one-time charges, or additional costs for specific features.
