Our Verdict
Given the current data, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its perfect rating and significant number of positive reviews provide strong evidence of its effectiveness and reliability. Merchants looking to improve site speed, optimize image alt text, and enhance overall image SEO should strongly consider this app.
SEO Buddy: AI SEO Partner, with its lack of reviews, presents a significant risk. While its all-in-one approach might seem appealing, the absence of any user feedback makes it difficult to assess its quality or effectiveness. Unless the merchant is comfortable being an early adopter and taking a chance, it's prudent to avoid this app until it garners some positive reviews and establishes a track record.
