Our Verdict
If a merchant needs a deep dive into their store's overall SEO performance and wants guidance on actionable improvements across various areas (business, marketing, technical), SEO Image Optimizer Wizard is the better choice. The SEO Image Optimizer Wizard offers a more holistic assessment of SEO with a wider range of features to analyse and improve your SEO score. Its benchmarking feature also allows merchants to better understand SEO based on the strategies used by successful online stores.
However, if the primary concern is simplifying image management, ensuring a consistent visual aesthetic, and optimizing images for speed and basic SEO, VF Image Resizer+ is more suitable. VF Image Resizer+'s strength lies in making it easier to bulk resize, watermark, and compress images quickly. With the inclusion of revertable changes, VF Image Resizer+ gives merchants greater control and confidence while improving the aesthetic look of their product images. Given the slightly higher rating (4.9 vs 4.8) and focus on usability, VF Image Resizer+ might be preferred for merchants prioritizing ease of use.
