In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between 'SEO On: AEO optimizer LLMs.txt' and 'Split, A/B Testing Price Test' face distinctly different value propositions. Our Verdict
The choice between 'SEO On' and 'Split' hinges on a merchant's priorities. If the primary goal is to improve overall SEO performance and organic traffic, and the merchant is comfortable with potentially technical setup, 'SEO On' could be a good choice, especially given its high rating. However, the lack of detail makes it risky to choose. If, however, the merchant is primarily focused on maximizing immediate profit through price optimization and conversion rate improvements, 'Split' is the clearer choice. Its A/B testing capabilities, targeting price, discounts, and shipping, offer a direct path to revenue enhancement. The feature list and description make 'Split' appear more usable for less technically savvy merchants.
