SEO Speed Image Optimizer vs SoldLive: FB & IG Live Sellingfor Shopify (2026)
SEO Speed Image Optimizer and SoldLive: FB & IG Live Selling are vastly different Shopify apps catering to distinct needs. SEO Speed Image Optimizer focuses on enhancing a store's SEO performance through image optimization, targeting merchants who want to improve their website's speed and search engine rankings. Its core strength lies in automatically compressing, resizing, and optimizing alt text for images, alongside bulk editing capabilities. In contrast, SoldLive: FB & IG Live Selling is designed for merchants seeking to leverage live selling on Facebook and Instagram. It automates the live shopping experience, allowing customers to purchase directly from live streams. SoldLive's power comes from its ability to automatically respond to customer comments, process orders, send invoices through Facebook or Instagram Messenger, and even follow up on abandoned carts and manage waitlists. While both apps fall under the 'Images and media' Shopify category, their functionalities are completely separate. One tackles backend SEO and website speed, while the other directly addresses front-end sales engagement via live streams. The choice hinges on whether a merchant prioritizes organic search optimization or direct sales through social media live events.
