Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving their store's SEO ranking and site speed through image optimization, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the better choice. Its focus on bulk optimization, automated resizing, and alt text optimization provides a streamlined solution for boosting search visibility. However, for merchants seeking a comprehensive solution for creating professional product photos, managing visual content, leveraging user-generated content, and analyzing performance, soona: Product Photos, AI, UGC offers a broader set of features. Soona is superior for brands looking to invest heavily in visual marketing and content creation and are willing to use the platform to improve how their brand is visually seen online.
In short, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is a more focused, technical tool, while soona is a more versatile, content-centric platform. If SEO is the primary objective, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is preferable. If professional, high-quality visuals and content management are paramount, soona is the better option, despite the lower rating and fewer reviews.
