SEO Speed Image Optimizer vs VFit: AI Model Photos & Try‑Onfor Shopify (2026)
SEO Speed Image Optimizer and VFit: AI Model Photos & Try‑On are both Shopify apps operating within the 'Image editor' category, but they cater to vastly different needs and target distinct merchant profiles. SEO Speed Image Optimizer focuses on improving website performance and SEO by optimizing existing product images through compression, resizing, alt text optimization, and bulk editing. It aims to address the technical aspects of image handling that directly impact search engine ranking and user experience related to site speed. Conversely, VFit: AI Model Photos & Try‑On is designed to enhance product presentation and increase conversions by generating visually appealing on-model photos and virtual try-on experiences from basic flat-lay or packshot images. VFit's core value proposition lies in reducing the need for costly photoshoots and offering innovative ways to showcase products, particularly apparel and accessories. It leverages AI to create realistic on-model imagery, 360-degree rotations, and interactive virtual try-ons. In contrast, SEO Speed Image Optimizer directly targets SEO performance issues arising from unoptimized images.
