SEOmatic: AI SEO Optimizer vs Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LDfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, SEOmatic: AI SEO Optimizer and Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LD represent distinct approaches to Shopify SEO. SEOmatic aims to be an all-in-one solution, focusing on broad SEO improvements like on-page optimization, image compression, and technical SEO fixes, automating many tasks with AI. Webrex, on the other hand, specializes in structured data (schema) and AI-driven search, helping stores get discovered through rich results in search engine results pages (SERPs). While both apps fall under the SEO category, SEOmatic provides a more comprehensive suite of features, while Webrex is a niche tool focused on schema markup. SEOmatic offers a broader set of features including image optimization, broken link monitoring, and AI keyword research. The ideal choice depends on the merchant's needs. If the merchant seeks an all-in-one SEO solution, SEOmatic may be the better option.
