Our Verdict
The choice between Sesami Booking App and SKUGen hinges on the type of business. Sesami is the clear winner for service-oriented businesses seeking a robust booking platform with appointment scheduling, customer communication, and scaling features. Its higher rating and significantly more reviews suggest broader user satisfaction within its target market. SKUGen is beneficial exclusively for product-based retailers struggling with SKU management and barcode printing. Its lower rating and fewer reviews indicate it might not be as polished or widely adopted, but if SKU and label management is a primary pain point, it can provide necessary functionality. If a business sells both services and products, it will likely need both apps or other more comprehensive solutions.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a hair salon?
Sesami Booking App is specifically designed for beauty salons and offers features tailored to their needs, such as appointment scheduling and customer management.
Can SKUGen be used for a business selling online courses?
No. SKUGen focuses on SKU and barcode generation for physical products, not services or digital goods like online courses.
Which app is easier to set up?
Sesami Booking App claims a setup time of 'minutes' and offers an onboarding call, suggesting a simpler initial setup. SKUGen's description doesn't explicitly address ease of use, but SKU generation can be complex depending on data and rules.
Which app supports multiple languages?
Sesami Booking App supports multiple languages and worldwide timezones, enabling businesses to cater to a global audience. SKUGen is focused on English support.
If I sell both products and services, do I need both apps?
Potentially. If the service aspect is significant and requires a dedicated booking system, Sesami is necessary. If product volume is high and SKU/barcode management is a challenge, SKUGen could be helpful. Depending on a business's needs, a more comprehensive, all-in-one inventory management system may be a better solution.
