SF International vs xConnectorfor Shopify (2026)
SF International and xConnector are Shopify shipping apps targeting merchants with distinct needs, evidenced by their drastically different ratings and feature sets. SF International, with a meager 1/5 rating based on just 2 reviews, lacks a detailed description, making it difficult to assess its specific value proposition. In contrast, xConnector boasts a perfect 5/5 rating from 61 reviews, indicating strong user satisfaction. xConnector positions itself as a comprehensive fulfillment solution, encompassing shipping label and invoice creation, calculated rates, return management, and even pick-and-pack functionality via a mobile app. xConnector's strength lies in its breadth of features and its support for a wide range of local couriers across Europe. This makes it particularly attractive to merchants shipping internationally within Europe who require robust fulfillment tools. The "collect points widget" suggests an additional focus on enhancing customer experience through location-based services. SF International's offering, however, remains unclear based on the limited information available, making it impossible to determine its strengths or target audience beyond generally fitting within the "Shipping" category.

Our Verdict
Given the data available, xConnector is the clear choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its high rating, positive reviews, and comprehensive feature set make it a compelling option for businesses needing robust shipping and fulfillment capabilities, especially those operating within Europe. The mobile app and return request module are significant advantages.
SF International's extremely low rating and lack of information make it difficult to recommend. Unless a merchant has specific, compelling reasons to try SF International (perhaps very specific integration requirements not mentioned), xConnector provides a far more trustworthy and feature-rich solution.
Common Questions
What makes xConnector better than SF International?
xConnector boasts a significantly higher rating (5/5 vs. 1/5) based on a much larger number of reviews (61 vs. 2), indicating greater user satisfaction. Additionally, xConnector offers a detailed feature set, including shipping label and invoice creation, calculated rates, return request management, and a mobile pick-and-pack app, which are not known to be available in SF International.
Is xConnector suitable for merchants outside of Europe?
While xConnector supports a wide range of European couriers, its suitability for merchants outside of Europe depends on whether it offers integrations with couriers in other regions. The current data doesn't explicitly state support for non-European couriers.
Does xConnector integrate with accounting software?
The description mentions integrations with SmartBill, FGO, Oblio, and BillingoHu, which suggests it integrates with at least some accounting or invoicing services. Further research would be needed to determine the full extent of its accounting software integrations.
What is the 'collect points' widget in xConnector used for?
The 'collect points' widget, accompanied by a map view, likely allows merchants to display pickup locations or store locations for customers. This enhances the customer experience by providing convenient options for order fulfillment or returns.
Is SF International likely to improve over time?
While it's possible that SF International could improve, the current rating and lack of information suggest significant issues that need addressing. Without further evidence of improvement, xConnector remains the far safer and more reliable choice for most merchants.
