Sharely: Social Media Icons vs Zellor AI Shoppable UGC Videofor Shopify (2026)
Sharely: Social Media Icons and Zellor AI Shoppable UGC Video are both Shopify apps with perfect 5/5 ratings, although the significance of this rating differs substantially due to vastly different review counts. Sharely aims to enhance social proof and drive traffic to a merchant's external social media profiles by offering customizable social media icons and sharing buttons. It caters to merchants looking for a straightforward way to showcase their social media presence and encourage customers to share products. Zellor AI Shoppable UGC Video, on the other hand, leverages AI to create shoppable user-generated content videos. The core distinction lies in their functionality. Sharely is about directing traffic *away* from the Shopify store to external social platforms and boosting perceived credibility. Zellor focuses on using user-generated video content *within* the store to drive conversions directly. A merchant primarily concerned with expanding their reach and demonstrating existing social media activity would find Sharely more appealing. Conversely, a merchant focused on directly improving conversions through engaging video content would lean towards Zellor.

Our Verdict
For merchants with a strong pre-existing social media presence looking to easily showcase their accounts and facilitate sharing, Sharely: Social Media Icons is the better choice. Its high review count suggests reliability and user satisfaction. However, the limited data on Zellor makes a definitive recommendation difficult. If a merchant is specifically seeking to harness user-generated video content to directly boost sales within their Shopify store and is comfortable with a potentially more complex setup process, Zellor AI Shoppable UGC Video *could* be a good option, but the low review count necessitates extreme caution and thorough investigation before committing. A merchant seeking a low-risk, proven solution should strongly consider Sharely, while Zellor represents a higher-risk, potentially higher-reward play for merchants specifically focused on video marketing.
Common Questions
Does Sharely help me create social media content?
No, Sharely simply allows you to link to your existing social media profiles and add sharing buttons for your products. It doesn't create content.
Can Zellor AI Shoppable UGC Video help if I don't have any user-generated content yet?
While the description specifies shoppable UGC video, it is unclear whether the AI can assist in generating content without any initial user submissions. Further research is needed to determine the AI's content creation capabilities.
Is Sharely a good option for a brand new store with no social media presence?
Probably not. Sharely is most effective when you already have active social media accounts to link to. Otherwise, you're just showing empty profiles.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, Sharely is likely easier to set up. Adding social media icons is generally a straightforward process, while Zellor's AI-driven video capabilities suggest a more complex setup.
Which app is more likely to provide a higher ROI?
It depends on your specific goals. If your goal is to increase social media followers and build brand awareness, Sharely may offer a better ROI. If your goal is to directly increase sales within your Shopify store, Zellor *could* offer a higher ROI, but this is highly dependent on the quality of the UGC and the effectiveness of the AI. The review count disparity should also factor into this decision: there's more risk associated with Zellor.
