ShipBlu vs Zipcode Checker ‑ Zipproverfor Shopify (2026)

Our Verdict
For merchants who need to improve their last-mile delivery experience, focusing on speed, real-time notifications, and quick payment collection, ShipBlu is a potentially good option, *assuming* its service area covers their customers. However, the low rating and limited reviews are a significant concern. For merchants struggling with inaccurate orders due to delivery restrictions or wanting to set clear delivery expectations upfront, Zipcode Checker ‑ Zipprover is clearly the better choice. Its perfect rating and sizable review count indicate higher user satisfaction and reliability. Zipcode Checker ‑ Zipprover is also a good choice for merchants operating with varied delivery rules based on location or product.
Common Questions
Which app helps me collect payments faster?
ShipBlu directly addresses payment speed by collecting payments upon delivery (cash or card) and depositing them into your account the next day. Zipcode Checker ‑ Zipprover does not handle payment processing.
Which app reduces shipping-related support requests?
Zipcode Checker ‑ Zipprover proactively addresses potential delivery issues by allowing customers to verify service availability *before* purchase, leading to fewer complaints and support tickets about undeliverable orders. ShipBlu could potentially reduce support requests related to tracking, but not undeliverable orders.
Which app offers delivery tracking to my customers?
ShipBlu offers live tracking updates via WhatsApp and a web tracking portal for both the merchant and the customer. Zipcode Checker ‑ Zipprover focuses on providing estimated delivery timelines *before* the purchase, not real-time tracking after dispatch.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
While it's hard to definitively say without trying the apps, Zipcode Checker ‑ Zipprover might have a slightly more complex setup initially, requiring zone definition and potentially product rule configuration. ShipBlu sounds simpler, primarily automating delivery requests, but its ease of use will heavily depend on the coverage area provided by ShipBlu.
Does ShipBlu verify the customer address before accepting an order?
The description of ShipBlu does not explicitly state that it verifies customer addresses before accepting an order. It's possible this functionality exists, but the provided app details do not confirm this. In contrast, Zipcode Checker - Zipprover allows you to do this yourself by showing availability only for specific zip codes.
