ShipperHQ: Shipping & Checkout vs Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)for Shopify (2026)
ShipperHQ: Shipping & Checkout and Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) both address delivery needs but cater to very different Shopify merchant types. ShipperHQ is a comprehensive shipping solution focused on accurate rate calculation for parcel, freight, and store pickup, supporting a wide range of carriers (75+) and offering advanced features like dimensional shipping and shipping rules. It targets businesses with complex shipping requirements, aiming to optimize shipping costs and improve checkout conversions through features like estimated delivery dates and address validation. Store Pickup + Delivery (CR), on the other hand, is specialized for local pickup and delivery scheduling, particularly beneficial for restaurants and businesses needing to manage multi-location fulfillment locally. Our Verdict
If your business relies on shipping products via parcel, freight, or LTL, and you require accurate rates from multiple carriers with dimensional shipping capabilities, ShipperHQ is the clear choice. Its robust feature set caters to complex shipping scenarios and can potentially save on shipping costs. However, if your primary focus is local pickup and delivery scheduling, especially if you are a restaurant or a business managing orders across multiple locations, Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) is the better option. Its focus on scheduling, time-slot management, and location-specific rules will provide the necessary tools for efficient local fulfillment.
Common Questions
Can both apps be used simultaneously?
While technically possible, it's not recommended. ShipperHQ handles store pickup as part of its overall shipping strategy, which could conflict with Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)'s scheduling features.
Does ShipperHQ handle local delivery scheduling?
ShipperHQ focuses primarily on rate calculation and shipping rules. While it supports store pickup, it doesn't offer the advanced scheduling and time-slot management of Store Pickup + Delivery (CR).
Which app is better for a business with only one physical store?
If that store only offers local pickup or delivery, Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) will likely be a better fit. If they also ship nationally/internationally, ShipperHQ would be needed to calculate shipping rates.
Which app is easier to set up?
Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) likely has a simpler setup process, especially if the primary need is basic local pickup and delivery. ShipperHQ, with its broader range of features and carrier integrations, may require more configuration.
Does either app integrate with major POS systems?
The provided data does not specify POS integrations for either app. Further research is recommended to confirm compatibility with specific POS systems.
