Shipway: Logistics Aggregation vs Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)for Shopify (2026)
Shipway: Logistics Aggregation and Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) both address fulfillment challenges for Shopify merchants but cater to vastly different needs. Shipway is tailored for Indian D2C ecommerce businesses grappling with national shipping logistics. Its strength lies in aggregating multiple courier partners, automating shipping processes (AI carrier allocation, NDR management, returns), and enhancing the post-purchase experience through branded tracking and notifications. This focuses on streamlining long-distance shipping and reducing RTO losses. Store Pickup + Delivery (CR), in contrast, concentrates on local fulfillment options, providing tools for merchants to offer and manage in-store pickup and local delivery services. It's designed to enhance the customer experience for those who prefer immediate gratification and is particularly useful for restaurants and businesses offering local goods or services.
