Shirtly ‑ Print on Demand vs Suppliers4U:sourcing suppliersfor Shopify (2026)
Shirtly ‑ Print on Demand and Suppliers4U:sourcing suppliers both operate within the 'Sourcing options - Other' category on the Shopify app store, but their purposes and user satisfaction levels appear vastly different based on the available data. Shirtly ‑ Print on Demand likely caters to merchants specifically seeking print-on-demand services for apparel, while Suppliers4U:sourcing suppliers seems to offer a broader range of sourcing solutions. The critical difference lies in user feedback; Shirtly has a single, quite negative review, resulting in a low 2/5 rating. Conversely, Suppliers4U boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on twelve reviews, suggesting much higher user satisfaction. The low review count of Shirtly makes its rating less statistically significant. Given the sparse data, it's reasonable to assume Shirtly focuses on simplifying the process of creating and selling custom printed apparel. Suppliers4U, on the other hand, could be providing a more comprehensive supplier discovery or management platform, extending beyond the print-on-demand niche. Their positive reviews hint at a user-friendly interface and a valuable service for merchants needing to source various types of products. Merchants must look beyond ratings to compare the products.

Our Verdict
Based on the current data, Suppliers4U:sourcing suppliers appears to be the stronger choice for most merchants. Its significantly higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest a more reliable and valuable service. Shirtly ‑ Print on Demand, with its low rating and single review, presents a riskier option. However, if a merchant is *exclusively* focused on print-on-demand apparel and willing to thoroughly vet Shirtly before committing, it could potentially serve a niche need. Otherwise, Suppliers4U offers a more dependable foundation for sourcing, even if further research is needed to confirm its compatibility with specific product categories.
Common Questions
Which app is more likely to be user-friendly?
Suppliers4U:sourcing suppliers is more likely to be user-friendly, given its significantly higher rating and larger review count suggesting positive user experiences.
Which app is better for someone only selling t-shirts?
Shirtly ‑ Print on Demand is *intended* for this purpose, but the low rating warrants caution. If alternatives exist, they should be strongly considered first. Suppliers4U may only be a good fit for apparel if they source shirt suppliers in general, which is not clear based on the provided data.
What are the biggest risks when choosing Shirtly?
The biggest risks are potential usability issues, poor customer support, or unreliable print-on-demand fulfillment, inferred from the low rating and limited reviews. Thorough testing is vital.
Does the category 'Sourcing options - Other' tell us much about either app?
No, it's a very broad category. It tells us both apps offer sourcing functionality that doesn't fit into specific categories like dropshipping or specific product-type sourcing, but little else.
Could Suppliers4U still be relevant for a print-on-demand store?
Potentially, yes. Suppliers4U might connect you with suppliers capable of print-on-demand fulfillment, but it isn't explicitly stated in the data. It depends on the nature of their 'sourcing suppliers' capabilities. Further investigation is needed to see if they support print-on-demand business models.
