Shogun ‑ A/B Testing vs Swish: Page Speed Boosterfor Shopify (2026)
Shogun ‑ A/B Testing and Swish: Page Speed Booster both fall under the 'Site optimization - Other' Shopify category, but address fundamentally different needs. Shogun focuses on conversion rate optimization through A/B testing various elements like pages, themes, prices, and audiences. It aims to provide data-driven insights to improve sales and profitability. Swish, on the other hand, directly targets page speed, claiming to improve conversion rates, SEO, and ROAS by optimizing asset loading. The target audiences differ significantly. Shogun caters to merchants who are actively seeking to improve their sales numbers through rigorous testing and data analysis. It's likely best suited for merchants who have established traffic but suspect their conversion rates could be higher. Swish appeals to a broader audience, particularly those experiencing slow page load times and looking for a quick and easy solution. The smaller review count for Shogun could indicate it's either newer or appeals to a more niche, data-driven segment. The slightly lower rating for Swish might indicate occasional user issues despite addressing a common pain point.

Our Verdict
The choice between Shogun ‑ A/B Testing and Swish: Page Speed Booster depends entirely on the merchant's primary concern. If the merchant is already experiencing acceptable page load times but believes they can optimize their website for better conversions through testing, Shogun ‑ A/B Testing is the clear choice. It provides the tools necessary to experiment with different designs, pricing strategies, and content layouts.
However, if a merchant's website is noticeably slow, impacting user experience and SEO, Swish: Page Speed Booster is the more immediate solution. Addressing page speed should be prioritized before A/B testing, as a faster website will provide a better baseline for any optimization efforts. Ultimately, both apps can contribute to increased revenue, but they do so through distinct mechanisms.
