Shop Sheriff AMP Pages vs Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LDfor Shopify (2026)
Shop Sheriff AMP Pages and Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LD are both Shopify SEO apps, but they target different aspects of search engine optimization. Shop Sheriff AMP Pages focuses on improving mobile page speed and Core Web Vitals by creating Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMPs), which Google caches for near-instant loading. This directly impacts mobile SEO performance and user experience, especially for merchants heavily reliant on mobile traffic. In contrast, Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LD concentrates on structured data (schema markup) to improve how search engines understand your store's content, leading to richer search results and better click-through rates. Webrex emphasizes AI-driven search optimization and provides tools to generate schema for various content types like products, reviews, and FAQs, including integrations with many review apps. This helps search engines, especially AI systems, to interpret the store's data more accurately and present it effectively in search results. While both apps aim to boost SEO and attract more organic visitors, Shop Sheriff AMP Pages targets page speed and mobile performance, while Webrex targets schema optimization and improved search result presentation, particularly in the context of AI search.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with mobile user experience, Core Web Vitals, and improving mobile search rankings through page speed, Shop Sheriff AMP Pages is likely the better choice. The AMP page-builder makes it easier to create and customize AMP pages for various sections of your store. However, if your priority is to improve how search engines understand your store's content, enhance search result presentation with rich snippets, and optimize for AI-driven search, Webrex: SEO Schema & JSON‑LD is the superior option. Webrex excels at structured data and works well for stores with extensive product information, reviews, and FAQs.
In cases where both mobile speed and schema markup are important, merchants should consider using both apps, or prioritize based on current SEO performance and goals. If a store is already fast, focusing on schema could be a better investment. Conversely, if mobile page speed is poor, addressing that issue with Shop Sheriff AMP Pages should take precedence.
