ShopBack Growth Tools vs Simplee Memberships & Loyaltyfor Shopify (2026)
ShopBack Growth Tools and Simplee Memberships & Loyalty are Shopify apps targeting different aspects of customer retention and growth, despite both appearing in the 'Loyalty and rewards' category. ShopBack Growth Tools focuses on simplifying the integration process for merchants already using or planning to use ShopBack's payment and marketing platform. It provides convenient access to ShopBack's features and support directly from Shopify. Its strength lies in streamlining the onboarding and management of ShopBack services. The target audience is very specific: Shopify merchants actively leveraging the ShopBack ecosystem. However, its very low rating and extremely limited number of reviews suggest potential issues with usability or performance. In contrast, Simplee Memberships & Loyalty offers a comprehensive solution for creating and managing paid membership programs and loyalty initiatives within a Shopify store. It allows merchants to offer recurring memberships, gated content, exclusive discounts, and store credits to their members. Simplee's strength is its feature-rich approach to customer loyalty, enabling businesses to build exclusive communities and recurring revenue streams. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews indicate a positive user experience. This app targets merchants aiming to establish long-term customer relationships through membership-based loyalty programs.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants already committed to the ShopBack platform, ShopBack Growth Tools *might* offer some convenience, but the extremely low rating and almost non-existent reviews should raise serious concerns. Merchants should thoroughly investigate the app and ShopBack's integration process independently before committing.
In contrast, Simplee Memberships & Loyalty is the clear choice for merchants seeking to build robust membership programs and loyalty initiatives. Its comprehensive feature set, high rating, and substantial review count indicate a reliable and effective solution. The app offers greater utility for a broader range of merchants looking to foster customer loyalty and generate recurring revenue streams. For building a genuine loyalty program, Simplee is the recommended option.
