Shopeaks: From Story to Store vs The Closer ‑ AI Sales Agentfor Shopify (2026)
Shopeaks: From Story to Store and The Closer - AI Sales Agent both aim to improve online sales, but approach the problem from different angles. Shopeaks focuses on leveraging social media content to create shoppable experiences and enhance ad performance. It appears geared towards merchants heavily invested in social media marketing and influencer collaborations. The Closer, on the other hand, is focused on converting website visitors through an AI-powered chat agent, effectively acting as a 24/7 sales representative. It's designed to guide visitors towards purchase decisions through proactive engagement and upsells. The key difference lies in their primary focus: Shopeaks enhances existing marketing channels and provides a centralized hub for social commerce, while The Closer focuses on optimizing the on-site customer journey through AI-driven interactions. Shopeaks leverages AI to personalize storefronts and optimize ad campaigns, while The Closer uses AI to understand shopper intent and provide personalized product recommendations. Furthermore, Shopeaks provides influencer campaign tracking, a feature absent from The Closer. The extremely contrasting review data is a significant point of differentiation. Our Verdict
For merchants heavily involved in social media marketing and looking to streamline their social commerce efforts while optimizing their ad campaigns, Shopeaks: From Story to Store appears to be the stronger option, especially given its positive reviews. Its ability to integrate social feeds, manage influencers, and provide AI-driven insights makes it a comprehensive solution for maximizing ROI from social channels.
However, for merchants prioritizing on-site conversion and wanting to provide instant sales support to website visitors, The Closer - AI Sales Agent offers a compelling solution. Its focus on real-time shopper intent analysis and ability to guide customers to checkout directly from the chat window could significantly boost sales. Although its lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice, its ease of setup might be appealing for merchants seeking a quick and simple solution. That being said, the lack of reviews and 0 rating is a significant red flag compared to Shopeaks. Most merchants should likely choose Shopeaks.
