Shopify Forms vs Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popupsfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants seeking to enhance lead generation and customer engagement through forms and pop-ups have options like Shopify Forms and Trustoo Pop ups, Email Popups (SendWILL). Shopify Forms positions itself as a native Shopify tool, emphasizing seamless integration with the platform and a focus on lead capture, customer tagging, and data segmentation within the Shopify ecosystem. It's built to align with the broader Shopify ecosystem, offering integration with Shopify's customer profiles and marketing tools. SendWILL (Trustoo/Ecomsend), on the other hand, provides a more comprehensive marketing suite, encompassing not only pop-ups and forms but also email marketing campaigns and automation features. The primary difference lies in their scope. Shopify Forms is a focused form and lead capture solution deeply embedded within Shopify. SendWILL offers a broader all-in-one marketing platform, including email marketing and automation. SendWILL also highlights its compatibility with third-party marketing apps such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp. The significant difference in review count (368 vs 7110) suggests SendWILL has a much larger user base. Ultimately, the choice depends on whether a merchant needs a tightly integrated Shopify-native form solution or a more complete marketing platform with pop-ups and email marketing capabilities.

Our Verdict
For merchants deeply invested in the Shopify ecosystem and seeking a simple, native solution for capturing leads and segmenting customers, Shopify Forms is a strong choice. Its tight integration simplifies data management and personalization within Shopify. However, for businesses requiring a broader marketing platform with robust email marketing capabilities, including campaigns, automation, and integrations with other marketing apps like Klaviyo or Mailchimp, SendWILL (Trustoo/Ecomsend) is the better option, despite potentially having a slightly steeper learning curve due to its extensive features. The significantly higher review count and perfect rating also suggest a higher level of user satisfaction, potentially stemming from its comprehensive feature set.
