Our Verdict
For merchants specifically looking to address the environmental impact of their shipping and appeal to eco-conscious consumers, Shopify Planet is the more direct solution. Its focus on carbon-neutral shipping provides a tangible way to offset emissions. However, the lower rating compared to Zestard should be considered. If a merchant wants to support a broader range of charitable causes, offer customers donation options at multiple touchpoints, and requires more customization and detailed reporting, Zestard ‑ Easy Donation is the better choice. Its higher rating and greater number of reviews suggest a more positive user experience.
