Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a fully branded mobile app experience with advanced features like push notifications and deep integrations, Shopney ‑ Mobile App Builder is the clear choice. Its established user base (indicated by the higher review count) suggests a more mature and feature-rich platform. However, the investment in both time and potential cost will be significantly higher.
Wishlist by Square is ideal for merchants who want a simple, easy-to-implement solution to enhance customer engagement on their existing website. It offers a low-barrier-to-entry way to understand customer preferences and drive sales without the complexities of building and maintaining a separate mobile app. For smaller stores or those just starting out, Wishlist by Square represents a more accessible and cost-effective option.
