Shopwaive Credit, Loyalty & AI vs Simesy Order Editing & Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
Shopwaive Credit, Loyalty & AI and Simesy Order Editing & Upsell both target Shopify merchants, but address very different needs. Shopwaive positions itself as an enterprise-grade solution offering a comprehensive suite of features, including a credit, loyalty, and rewards program, along with AI-powered business assistance. Its strength lies in its broad functionality, including payment flexibility via Checkout APIs, store credit management, integration capabilities (6,000+ apps), and features like direct deposits and headless commerce support. Shopwaive appears geared towards larger businesses with complex loyalty program needs and a desire for extensive customization and integrations. Simesy, on the other hand, is laser-focused on solving order editing and self-service support issues. Its core value proposition is reducing support tickets by empowering customers to edit their orders (address, product options, etc.) and even cancel them. Simesy offers automated refunds or store credits for cancellations and gives merchants control over editing rules and deadlines. This app is more suitable for smaller to medium-sized businesses looking to improve customer experience and reduce support workload related to order modifications and cancellations. A significant weakness is the complete absence of ratings and reviews, implying it is a very new app or has not yet gained traction.

Our Verdict
For established businesses seeking to implement or expand comprehensive loyalty and payment programs with deep customization options and AI-powered assistance, Shopwaive Credit, Loyalty & AI appears to be the more suitable choice, provided they are comfortable with the likely complexity and potential cost associated with such a feature-rich platform. However, the limited number of reviews should be considered.
For smaller businesses primarily concerned with streamlining order editing and reducing customer support requests related to order modifications, Simesy Order Editing & Upsell is a more targeted solution. It directly addresses a common pain point and offers a simpler implementation path. However, the lack of reviews and ratings raises significant concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. Therefore, proceed with extreme caution and potentially seek alternative solutions with a more established track record.
Common Questions
Does Shopwaive or Simesy offer direct integration with Shopify POS?
Shopwaive explicitly mentions Shopify POS integration, while Simesy does not.
Which app is better for B2B businesses offering credit lines to their customers?
Shopwaive is explicitly designed for B2B, including features like B2B drafts, credit requests, and approvals, which Simesy does not provide.
If I want to provide customers with a self-service portal, which app is better?
Simesy is specifically built for self-service order editing and cancellation. Shopwaive doesn't offer this exact functionality as their loyalty, gift card, and credit features are still typically used by the merchant themselves to engage the customer (although the customer can then redeem these benefits at checkout).
Which app is easier to set up and use?
While not explicitly stated, Simesy is likely easier to set up and use due to its focused functionality. Shopwaive's breadth of features implies a steeper learning curve.
Which app can help increase Average Order Value (AOV)?
Both apps *can* increase AOV. Shopwaive can do it indirectly through upsells that offer cashback, while Simesy uses post-purchase upsells. However, Simesy's primary focus is explicitly on AOV increase through post-purchase upsells.
