Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to expand their marketing reach and drive sales through affiliate programs, Simple Affiliate appears to be the stronger choice. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews suggest a user-friendly and effective platform. The comprehensive feature set and focus on automation simplify the process of managing affiliates and tracking sales. On the other hand, for merchants operating within the EU and needing to comply with VAT regulations, Taxually addresses a critical, yet often complex, need. While its rating and review count are lower, its core functionality of automating VAT filings is essential for those businesses.
Ultimately, the best choice depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If you need affiliate marketing, Simple Affiliate is the clear winner. If you need VAT compliance in the EU, Taxually, despite its lower rating, tackles a very specific problem.
