Singleton | Advanced Discounts vs Varion Prices, Bundles & Dealsfor Shopify (2026)
Singleton | Advanced Discounts and Varion Prices, Bundles & Deals both target Shopify merchants looking to improve pricing strategies, but they approach it from different angles. Singleton focuses on creating various discount options to incentivize spending, offering features like volume discounts, targeted customer discounts, and discount visibility across the cart and checkout process. It positions itself as a tool to motivate customers to buy more through strategic discount implementation, appealing to merchants looking to boost average order value. Varion Prices, Bundles & Deals, on the other hand, emphasizes simplifying the purchasing decision by presenting product variants, prices, and bundle deals clearly on a single product page. Its strength lies in its ability to facilitate comparison shopping, highlighting price differences and savings to encourage conversions. This app targets merchants who sell products with numerous variants or offer bundles and seek to streamline the customer's decision-making process, improving clarity and potentially reducing choice paralysis. The key distinction lies in Singleton's discount-centric approach versus Varion's focus on comparative pricing and variant presentation.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Singleton | Advanced Discounts appears to be the more established and user-validated option, evidenced by its 5-star rating and 31 reviews. It's a strong choice for merchants who want to aggressively use discounts to incentivize purchases, especially those selling to both general consumers and B2B customers.
Varion Prices, Bundles & Deals is a newer app with no reviews, making it a riskier choice. However, its focus on simplifying product variant comparisons could be highly valuable for merchants with complex product catalogs. If you have a large number of product variants or bundled products and struggle with customer decision paralysis, Varion might be worth trying, but proceed with caution due to the lack of user feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Varion Prices, Bundles & Deals is likely easier to set up initially, as it primarily focuses on displaying existing product data clearly. Singleton, with its complex discount options, likely requires more configuration.
Which app is better for B2B businesses?
Singleton | Advanced Discounts is explicitly designed for B2B, with the ability to offer targeted discounts to specific customer groups.
Which app is better for a store with only a few products?
Singleton | Advanced Discounts is likely more effective in this scenario. Varion's value lies in managing numerous variants. If your products have few or no variants, its benefit would be limited.
How will these apps affect my store's loading speed?
Without performance data, it's impossible to say definitively. However, complex discount logic (like that offered by Singleton) can sometimes impact loading speed more than simple data display (like Varion's focus on product variant pricing). It's recommended to test each app's impact on site speed.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but there may be conflicts. If you want to offer advanced discounts *and* clearly display price comparisons, you could try using both. However, ensure the discounts are clearly reflected in the variant/bundle pricing shown by Varion to avoid confusing customers.
