Singleton | Verify Customers vs SpurIT Dynamic Pricingfor Shopify (2026)
Singleton | Verify Customers and SpurIT Dynamic Pricing, while both categorized under 'Pricing' and 'Pricing Quotes' in the Shopify App Store, cater to drastically different needs of Shopify merchants. Singleton focuses on controlling access to products and prices based on customer verification, appealing to businesses requiring gated access, wholesale pricing strategies, or membership models. SpurIT Dynamic Pricing, conversely, aims to automate price adjustments based on sales volume, designed to optimize sales performance and minimize manual price management. The core divergence lies in their objectives: Singleton is about restriction and controlled access, whereas SpurIT is about automation and sales optimization. Their shared category only reflects the broad context of influencing purchase prices, not necessarily their means of doing so. The difference lies in the means. One controls *who* can see prices, the other controls *how* prices change.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing to control *who* sees their products and prices, especially for wholesale or membership-based businesses, Singleton | Verify Customers is the clear choice. Its focus on customer verification and access control directly addresses this need. The larger number of reviews (78 vs 2) also lends to the app's credibility. However, if the primary goal is to optimize sales and reduce manual price management based on sales volume, SpurIT Dynamic Pricing is more appropriate. It automates price adjustments, potentially freeing up time and increasing sales. While SpurIT offers a valuable service, the significantly lower number of reviews raises a small flag and urges caution while evaluating. Merchants should carefully consider whether their primary objective is access control or dynamic pricing to make the right decision.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, it's difficult to definitively say. SpurIT seems like it would involve configuring pricing rules, while Singleton requires setting up a customer approval workflow. However, neither app mentions the difficulty or ease of setup.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
Potentially, but it would require careful planning. Singleton controls access to prices, while SpurIT adjusts them. It is important to note that the apps affect distinct points in the purchase flow. It is possible for a customer to be approved, and still see dynamic prices from SpurIT.
Does either app offer a free trial?
Neither app description explicitly mentions a free trial. This information would need to be verified on the Shopify App Store listing.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
It depends on the business model. If the store relies on controlled access or membership, Singleton is essential. If the goal is rapid sales growth through optimized pricing, SpurIT may be beneficial, but the low review count indicates caution.
Is the pricing for either app based on usage?
The app descriptions do not provide pricing information. Usage-based pricing details should be clarified on the individual app pages.
