Singleton | Verify Customers vs TW ‑ quote requests & offersfor Shopify (2026)
Singleton | Verify Customers and TW ‑ quote requests & offers both aim to control pricing visibility on Shopify stores, but they approach this goal with vastly different functionalities. Singleton focuses on gating access to prices and the 'add to cart' button based on customer verification and approval. It provides robust customer management tools, including custom registration forms and approval workflows. TW ‑ quote requests & offers, on the other hand, streamlines the process of gathering quote requests and offers by hiding prices and allowing customers to either request a quote or submit their own offer. Its strength lies in its simplicity and integration directly within the product page using Shopify UI extensions. Singleton is designed for merchants who need strict control over who sees their prices, likely due to wholesale agreements, membership models, or exclusive product offerings. TW targets merchants who prefer a more flexible pricing strategy where individual product pricing is negotiated with customers, or those who deal with custom orders where a fixed price is difficult to establish upfront. TW prioritizes easy setup and management directly from the product page, focusing on lead generation and direct interaction with the customer within Shopify's draft order system. The key differentiator lies in Singleton's focus on customer validation and restriction versus TW's focus on facilitating custom pricing and requests.
