Singleton | Verify Customers vs Vipps MobilePay Loginfor Shopify (2026)
Singleton | Verify Customers and Vipps MobilePay Login are both Shopify apps in the "Accounts and login" category, but they address entirely different needs. Singleton focuses on customer validation and access control, allowing merchants to approve or decline customers based on custom criteria and hide prices/"Add to Cart" buttons from unapproved users. It emphasizes control over who sees what within the store, enabling the creation of custom registration forms and selective content display. In contrast, Vipps MobilePay Login aims to simplify the login process, potentially integrating with Vipps and MobilePay for seamless authentication, although this cannot be confirmed since it has no reviews or a detailed description provided. The crucial difference lies in their purpose: Singleton is about restricting access and validating customers based on merchant-defined criteria, whereas Vipps MobilePay Login ostensibly aims to streamline the login process using established mobile payment platforms. Currently, Singleton has a significant advantage in user feedback and feature clarity. It boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 78 reviews, indicating customer satisfaction with its functionality. Vipps MobilePay Login has no reviews, making it difficult to assess its usability, effectiveness, or suitability for specific merchants.

Our Verdict
Currently, Singleton | Verify Customers is the significantly stronger choice for merchants needing customer validation and access control. Its perfect rating, substantial number of reviews, and clear feature set provide assurance and demonstrate its effectiveness. It’s well-suited for businesses that require controlled access to pricing, products, or content, such as wholesale retailers or membership-based stores.
Vipps MobilePay Login has potential if merchants specifically require login integration with Vipps and MobilePay. However, the lack of reviews and detailed information makes it a risky proposition without further validation. Before considering it, merchants should seek developer documentation and examples. As of 2026, Singleton is the preferable choice unless Vipps MobilePay Login can prove its value and functionality with positive user reviews and clear feature descriptions.
