Singleton | Verify Customers vs VTN Customer Dashboardfor Shopify (2026)
Singleton | Verify Customers and VTN Customer Dashboard both aim to enhance the customer experience on Shopify, but they approach it from very different angles. Singleton focuses on access control and customer validation, providing merchants with the ability to gate content and selectively approve customers. This is ideal for businesses that need to control who sees their products and prices, such as wholesale suppliers or those with exclusive offerings. VTN Customer Dashboard, on the other hand, centers on improving the customer account experience by providing enhanced profile management, order tracking, and customization options. The core difference lies in their primary function. Singleton prioritizes security and exclusivity by managing access permissions, while VTN Customer Dashboard emphasizes customer engagement and convenience within the existing Shopify customer account framework. Singleton's strength is in its ability to restrict access based on pre-defined criteria and add custom fields to the registration form. VTN's advantage is in making the existing customer dashboard more user-friendly and providing tools for better customer relationship management through enriched profile information and easy order management. The significantly larger number of reviews for Singleton also suggests a longer track record or wider adoption.

Our Verdict
For merchants requiring granular control over who sees their product information and 'add to cart' buttons – specifically wholesale, B2B, or exclusive product vendors – Singleton | Verify Customers is the clear choice. Its ability to approve/decline customers, create custom registration forms, and hide content makes it ideal for managing access.
VTN Customer Dashboard caters to a broader audience. If your goal is to enhance the standard customer dashboard, provide a more intuitive customer experience, and boost customer engagement through improved profile management and order tracking, then VTN Customer Dashboard is the better option. While both have perfect ratings, the significant difference in the number of reviews should factor into a merchant's decision, as Singleton's greater number of reviews likely indicate a longer track record and wider adoption, suggesting a more tested and reliable app.
