Singleton | Verify Customers vs Webrex ‑ Pricing By Countryfor Shopify (2026)
Singleton | Verify Customers and Webrex ‑ Pricing By Country are Shopify apps addressing vastly different needs. Singleton focuses on access control and customer verification, allowing merchants to gate content and pricing based on approval status. Its strength lies in managing customer access and creating customized registration forms. This app is ideal for businesses requiring strict control over who sees their products and pricing, perhaps due to wholesale models, sensitive product offerings, or membership requirements. Webrex ‑ Pricing By Country, on the other hand, is geared towards international sales and optimizing profits through country-specific pricing strategies. Its core value proposition is simplifying the process of tailoring pricing, including shipping and taxes, to different geographic markets, automatically detecting customer locations via IP address. This app excels in expanding market reach and streamlining international transactions. While both apps fall under the 'Pricing' Shopify category, Webrex concentrates on location-based pricing adjustments, while Singleton controls access to all pricing information.

Our Verdict
The choice between Singleton | Verify Customers and Webrex ‑ Pricing By Country depends entirely on your business needs. If your primary concern is controlling who sees your products and prices, especially if you operate a wholesale business or require customer vetting, Singleton is the clear winner. Its ability to create custom registration forms and restrict access provides granular control.
However, if your focus is on international expansion and optimizing profits by tailoring pricing to different countries, Webrex is the more suitable option. Its automatic country detection and currency conversion features streamline the international sales process. If you only sell within one country, and do not need customer verification, Webrex is likely not useful.
