Our Verdict
The best app depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. If the primary goal is to create attractive and informative size charts to improve customer satisfaction and reduce returns related to sizing, Size Chart Pro is the more relevant option. However, the complete lack of reviews is a significant risk. On the other hand, if the merchant needs a tool to efficiently manage and update product metafields (specifically single-line text fields) in bulk, WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager is the better choice, despite its limited feature set. Its positive rating and customer reviews provide some reassurance.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Without user reviews or more detailed app descriptions, it's difficult to definitively say. WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager's focus on simple bulk editing suggests it might be more straightforward for those familiar with Shopify metafields. Size Chart Pro likely requires more initial setup and design effort.
Does Size Chart Pro handle metafields?
While it allows for custom fields for size data, its primary focus is on *displaying* that data in visually appealing charts, not necessarily managing metafields directly in the Shopify admin like WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager does.
Can WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager create size charts?
No. WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager is designed for managing existing product metafields, not for creating or displaying size charts in a user-friendly format.
Which app is better for international stores?
Size Chart Pro boasts translation features for size data labels, making it a more suitable option for international stores that need to provide size charts in multiple languages. WebAppsLive ‑ Fields Manager does not mention translation capabilities.
Should I avoid Size Chart Pro due to the lack of reviews?
The lack of reviews is a significant concern. While the app's features sound promising, proceed with caution. Thoroughly research the developer (eKommissar) and consider contacting them directly with questions before committing to the app. A free trial, if available, is essential.
