SMART Checkout Rules vs WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form CODfor Shopify (2026)
SMART Checkout Rules and WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form COD, while both touching on payment options, cater to distinct needs and strategies. SMART Checkout Rules is designed to provide granular control over the *native* Shopify checkout process. It focuses on dynamically adjusting payment and shipping options based on various rules, making it ideal for merchants looking to optimize the checkout flow for different customer segments or product types. It emphasizes rules-based logic, allowing for customized B2B, international, or high-risk order management without code. WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form COD, in contrast, concentrates on creating a *custom* Cash on Delivery (COD) order form *outside* of the standard Shopify checkout. It bundles a suite of features around the COD payment method, including lead generation, upsells, pixel tracking, Google Sheets integration, and fraud prevention. WEBI-Leadform is therefore better suited for merchants specifically focused on COD sales and who need advanced features tailored to managing this payment method, especially lead management and marketing insights.

Our Verdict
The choice between SMART Checkout Rules and WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form COD depends heavily on a merchant's specific needs. If the goal is to optimize the existing Shopify checkout with dynamic rules for various payment and shipping scenarios, SMART Checkout Rules is the clear choice. It offers granular control without requiring code. However, if a merchant's primary focus is Cash on Delivery and they require dedicated features for managing COD orders, including lead generation, upsells, and fraud prevention, then WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form COD is the better option. It sacrifices broad checkout customization for deep COD-specific functionality. A merchant heavily reliant on COD will find its enhanced reporting, marketing integration, and fraud detection features invaluable.
