Smart Product Wishlist vs Super Wishlistfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Smart Product Wishlist and Super Wishlist face a clear choice between a potentially powerful but unproven app and a well-regarded solution with early adopters. Smart Product Wishlist promises real-time analytics, trend tracking, and abuse prevention alongside standard wishlist functionality, positioning itself as a data-driven tool. Super Wishlist, in contrast, focuses on ease of use, conversion optimization through 'like' functionality, and customer engagement features like automated email alerts and social sharing of wishlists. Smart Product Wishlist targets merchants who prioritize data insights and trend analysis to inform their sales strategies, while Super Wishlist caters to merchants seeking a quick, user-friendly solution to boost conversions and improve customer engagement. Super Wishlist differentiates itself with auto email alerts (low stock, restock, price drop) and social sharing of wishlists, features absent from Smart Product Wishlist's description. However, Smart Product Wishlist uniquely mentions abuse prevention via automatic bans.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a proven solution focused on boosting conversions and improving customer engagement through features like email alerts and social sharing, Super Wishlist appears to be the better choice. Its existing user base (albeit small) and positive reviews provide more confidence. However, if data-driven insights and advanced abuse prevention are paramount, and a merchant is willing to take a chance on a new app with potentially powerful analytics capabilities, Smart Product Wishlist might be worth exploring. But, proceed with caution given the lack of any user reviews. A small merchant starting out may find Super Wishlist easier to use immediately. A larger more established merchant might test both in parallel to see which brings better value.
